Wine tasting / Food / Door Prizes / Raffles and Socializing!!

Here’s what to do:

• 1)   Bring $5.00 in non-perishable food for the Raleigh Food Bank, and $5.00 cash/check for wine tasting, food and door prizes! (See list below of most needed items for the food bank)
• 2)   Bring some extra cash and try your luck on our raffles! Items to raffle range from $10 - $900!! (See list below of current raffle items.)Raffle tickets are 5 for $3.00, or 10 for $5.00. You do not need to be present for the raffle drawings to win.
• 3)   If you need a reason to clean out the change from your car, pockets or purses, do so prior to coming in and donate your change to the Raleigh Food Bank Jar! Your loose change will help to make a change in someone’s life!

$5 (food) + $5 (cash) + Socializing = Holiday Blessings (and beyond) for the Food Bank

     The Raleigh Food Bank serves 34 counties in central and eastern North Carolina. Food is distributed through a network of 800 partner agencies to feed the hungry children, elderly and adults in the area. Food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, daycares and senior facilities receive aid from the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. For every dollar you donate, the Food Bank can provide nearly $8.00 worth of food or 4 meals.

     We’re making it easy for you and providing a social setting to encourage you to be active and attend. If you are not able to attend, but would like to support the Raleigh Food Bank—please please check back soon for a direct link to the "Holiday Blessngs Party" Food Bank link and donate. We are setting up a webpage on the food bank’s website for this fundraiser.

     Please, if you are planning to attend- RSVP so that we can prepare enough food for the social event.

Either way, you’re help will support the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC located right here in the Triangle to provide aid to the hungry residents in our hometown, NC. Even if your donation is valued at the cost of a cup of coffee, your donation is turned into a hundred fold which keeps giving well past the holiday season.

Most needed items for the Food Bank:

Canned Meals: Stews, Soups, Tuna, Ravioli, Lasagna, etc. (Pop-top cans a plus!) Peanut Butter, Canned Vegetables
Grains: Cereal, Rice, Pasta and Dried Beans
Fruits: Fruit cups, Dried Fruit, Applesauce, 100% Juice and Juice Boxes
Rice, Pasta and Dried Beans
Kid-Friendly Items: Granola Bars, Popcorn, Graham or Animal Crackers, Fat-free/Sugar-free Pudding Cups
Baby Products: Diapers, Wipes, Formula, Infant Cereal
Hygiene Items: Toothpaste, Feminine Products, Shaving Items, Hand Sanitizer, Soap, etc.
Paper Products: Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, etc.
(Please - No loose glass and plastic jars of baby food as they will have to be discarded due to health regulations)
